He even sneaks her crocks And after a laughing fight, He yanks at one sock To her giggling delight— _____This dear little blessing namedHaven.
Moose pulls one way-- She yanks the other. She squeals, "Mine, Moose. Mine!" Which ends that battle Until next time.
She dumps out her blocks; We stack towers high. She can just reach their tops. And with a devilish sigh A pinky finger sneaks by; "Crash!" The tower's awry— _____For this laughing engineer namedHaven.
Before her spring completely unwinds "Gampa" gets pooped. She picks books for story time-- 'Cause "Gamps" must recoup.
Neither cushion nor pillow Is the space to sit. Not when "Gampa's" thigh Makes a perfect fit— _____For a tiny smiling Godsend namedHaven.
But when cuckoo bird chirps, It's after eight o'clock. Time to find crocks And a missing red sock.
After a hug and a kiss, She's on her way. Mr. Moose will miss Her and collect dust till another day— _____Waiting with "Gampa" forHavento play.
Beautiful indeed Reg, reminds me so much of my own grandchildren..they are definately a reward to make up for all the aches and pains that come with getting older.
