Do you hear that pit-patter
Of rain kissing the ground,
Or the rustle of the leaves
Whispering to the wind,
Hush be quiet and listen
To the faint swishing
Of angels praying by moonlight,
The fireflies quiet dance
Under the diamond lit sky,
And the nightingale’s song
She sings sweetly tonight,
A note she stole from me!!!!!
This is a painting of a scene which only a talented poet dressed with a powerful muse can see or only an angel with broken wings suffering nostalgia... This is indeed very original and very beautiful poem. "Pit patter of rain kissing the ground", rustling of leaves whispering to the wind, Angels praying and nightingale singing a note she stole from you"..... Aren't you the Wordsworth of cyber age.

I find this very delightful ... I especially like the last line! ~Joseph
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
