What is this ( When is a question a lie ) ****************************** Is it the music or the lyrics Is the beat... or the vibe Hey listen ...!!!! Take me serious Is this ... Is this ... Is this .... A truth or a lie? Is it the fight Or the freedom Is faith The verse Or the word If it's just ... About me speaking Is this .... Is this .... Is this ... Just something you heard.. (chorus) Can it stand the test of time Will we ever find our way Working at your daily grind The hook, ... The line ... A pause ... What will I say Is this about me giving Is this about my past We're either dead Or we're living ... Is this ... Is this ... Is this ... The life that I had Is it the song or the lyrics Is the beat... or the vibe Are you ...really Taking me serious Is that ... Is that ... Is that... A truth or a lie? You're right with the test of time lyric. The truth should resonate better than the lie. But, we are so gullible we often believe lies even though we know, deep down, that they aren't true.
