Sage Sweetwater, unrivaled, bringing you the Upper Tier in lesbian erotica...Sage Sweetwater, the exceptional ARTIST of literary lesbian poetic prose...

Day the Breckenridge Pass Word Hung Stolen

remember that
ghost-like great horned
owl that materialized from
nothingness - 12,000 feet drop
air current to spin my bad-ass word
cloud, when homesteaders outnumbered
freeloaders, no prey shortage, her ass on the
line with Merle Haggard,

sage grouse
knows her fowl
game, conspicuous,
I scout with the chukar,
let her cry sings Darrius
Rucker, Hootie and the Blowfish,

the engraver
carved the image
on the headstone in
1879, noose, hemp halter
and that pine on the day the
Breckenridge Pass Word hung
stolen, give her enough rope,

campfire storytellers,
that first flow spring sap
is pure tonic, I know as much
about the sap rise as the sap tap
between a woman's thighs,

earth tone colors,
I wear a bad-ass word
cloud under my poncho,
carry survival items, I'm good
to go...pussy, wise counsel assisted
in the release of captives, broke bread
with Chipeta, Chief Ouray's wife,

prospecting for
wild plum, listening
to Merle Haggard's
pissed-off song, drinkin'
whiskey and rum...

I...

I can feel te energy in this piece, as well as the emotional grip of two women entwined in passion. The plot thickened, and then bedded, while Merle sang in the background. Nice touch...I like Merle Haggard too. :P Thank you for sharing this mildly erotic and sensual piece.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Sage,

Shapeshifting from one character, one setting, one musician or singer to another, in seamless flight: a 12,000 foot drop air current to spin your bad ass word clouds leave me gasping for more! Well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

The old songs, singers and characters blend together in this story and it brings me back to many days when clouds of fragrent smoke allowed dreams to shape shift in and out of the imagination. Well done Sage but I would expect nothing else from you.

Hey lady sage your spin has character! I love your references. The Great Horned owl and the Chukar. A bird of prey and a Pheasant. All this in a backdrop of Merle Haggard who sung of whiskey and women. We got Merle Haggard, Marshall Tucker and Cripple Creek. This represents an age line to me that I can relate to."When homesteaders outnumbered freeloaders" Now we reference back to that late 1800 genre that quickens my attention. This piece has got a backwoods American Indian vibe that I enjoy. I enjoyed it so much I married a Blackfoot Indian woman and she has kept me captivated in the throws of her spirit for as long as I've known her. You paint a scenery with your words that stir me. I may miss a nuance or two, Sage, but I'm crazy about
the way you write...and what you write. I even learn stuff.
