Casting a Nun and Convent in a Lesbian Western, Today's reality becomes Yesteryear's religious memories. Celebrity Firebrand Lesbian Novelist Sage Sweetwater strategically placed an elderly nun in her lesbian western novel in so that a convent story replete with an aging-nun community may be built with a film producer. It was Sage Sweetwater's intention to portray the convent as a money-making support system for the elderly nuns, allowing them to have a quality of life in their retirement.

Nuns and Convents are a thing of the past. Sage Sweetwater made an effort to fully personalize and develop a nun character who resides in a Mormon convent on the grounds  plodded and once owned by her Mormon relatives who came with the first party on the Mormon Trail with Brigham Young in 1847.

And a most important issue to Sage Sweetwater was aligning the convent through environmental issues, making the convent land a corridor for wildlife, deer, antelope, grouse and coniferous scatters of trees, a habitat for wild birds.
