Thus stood the master at the crossroads drawing a circle with a cypress rod. He tears a black fowl in two and articulates: "Euphas, Metahim, frugativi et appelavi." Turns to the East, kneels before the moon, and waves a hand. Thus appeared the unclean spirit, dog-headed, ass-eared with the legs of a calf, dressed in a scarlet surcoat, a yellow vest, and green breeches. He asks for his orders. But, as with all grimoires, there has been an alteration. The uninitiated shall receive only "pain for their trouble." Thus, another year of school will be required. College of Invisibles and long lines of wood-by sorcerers looking to be matriculated.

When you lump 'em in together you get a pot full, but I feel only the Sundance Wives will have the correct bouquet to calm the turbulence.

Look Away Silence by Edward Patterson

Martin Powers wanted an ironing board for Christmas. Instead, he got . . . Matthew Kieler, a non-returnable gift, but a gift that kept on giving. A powerful tale of survival, compassion and unapologetic love in the time of AIDS.
