Witch's Kites
Tangle string
Silver Cord Astral Wreck
His Jeep axle snaps

No human Wisdom
Can calculate the End
Consequences fly out of Evil actions
Drives the Monster over the cliff

Into the leviathan
Conflict's behemoth
Setting its course
Taking a death risk

Tangling with the Witch's Kites
Like an ox that jumps the fence
Liable to be torn by dogs,
Front and rear

…and …as always your muse’s voice
speaks of wisdom within your poetic prowess
“Consequences fly out of Evil actions"
I deeply believe in karma too
Mess with the bull---get the horn
Love dipped with sweet almond liqueurs

Tangles are not good - I wrote a simple poem longtime ago called Mr Kibitzer flies kites - don't know where that one is, it was a love poem about an imaginary old guy and his Mrs who flew kites on Primrose Hill, which is not important right now!!except there were no tangles that couldn't be untangled, and an indigo dance in the sky. He taught kids how to fly their kites. I had to look up leviathan and behemoth - i remembered leviathans as whales -so reading wiki was interesting. Sage poems remind me and teach me many things -thank you Sage xx:o)

Beware messing with a witch. I sure wouldn't if I knew I was. Love it. Liz

A cautionary tale, Sage...don't dismiss or make light of the spiritual forces in your quest for the physical earth, and don't confront what you do not understand, you will lose;
luv the tight power of the images...as ever, writing of distinction

Sage, this poem calls to mind a friend who lost his life when his Jeep rolled off a mountain. "No human Wisdom / Can calculate the End" ... so true. I love the visual brought to mind by "Tangling with the Witch's Kites." ~leslie

Cool write, it sort of reminds me of Steven King's "Misery"

Cheers,
Dan
