oracle foretold,
fire erupts in a lucid
pit of Oedipus vipers,
ratsbane, white arsenic,
schism, breach in organization,
ecclesiastical faction separated,

bindi dots
melt on women's
foreheads on the billboards
of Bollywood, transforms demon
to pure gliterati goddess,

sarees dance
in the campfire
flames, Vadanish
seduces the spurs
from our boots, culture
clanking, our jingle bobs
meet the bangles, her wrists
clad in silver and gold, her dark
complexion brands everlasting beauty
into our ministry rawhide,

The Sundance Wives
see Vadanish in the stoned
visions of sativa, four pipes with
residue of healing blackness, inhalation
of spirit when India coaxes us over, patchouli
blends Mt. Pisgah with Hindi.

This is so effective and is deftly clever as always. That dangerous dust from Pisgah reminds me of pogonip.
Be well,
Christine

Interesting and even though I don't know a lot of the words you used I could sense a sensuality all its own here. Thank you for sharing sister Sage.

May the Lord Bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and walk by your side. With love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister Barbie.

Hi Sage:

The first verse reminds me of the "Bubble, bubble, toil & trouble" scene from MacBeth (I think....I do know it was something Willy Shakberg wrote).

The rest, the imagery is pretty clear, and very good....
