Year of the Olives

Repetition Transforms

Melding the Past

Coherent branch of Life Rituals

Distinguished Timelessness

Biblical scenery intertwined with Daily Life

Olives turn from green to purple and black

We came with Purpose to Recount

Old Tales of Past Life With Desire and Ambivalence

Of Connecting and Creating

Black from green
With lye in between
Caustic juices flow
Tenderized and cured in the end
Green from black
Dilute the lie
Religion's soaking
Stained the page
