Pisgah and the Powder River Hymnals

the day Pisgah
lost its meaning
we came across
Moab headed to the
high head of the mountain
elevated to the summit of polygamy

our interest
to exploit collaboration
invested our printing press
with the richness of our outlaw spirit;
polytheism has risen -

out of a vile
confrontation
of hypocrites and
bible forgers,

we are the
primogenetrix;
unfinished product
of a long becoming
grouped together as
a result of primitive and
uncivilized assaults cast
from ignorance and patriarchal
flailing,

the setting
of the wildfire
improves the grass
and we send the printing
press in for the revival, earth
is the heart of our religion, ink
the source of our calling, Pisgah
and the Powder River Hymnals;

correcting what
they generated,
eroded in the plenty
the day Pisgah lost its
meaning.

Zara's Bois by Gracie McKeever

When the powers-that-be make the decision to return a selfish party-girl, Zara, to Earth on three missions of redemption, can romance and mayhem be far behind? One hot and trendy gay nightclub, two bickering angels and three unlikely pairs add up to

Look Away Silence by Edward Patterson

Martin Powers wanted an ironing board for Christmas. Instead, he got . . . Matthew Kieler, a non-returnable gift, but a gift that kept on giving. A powerful tale of survival, compassion and unapologetic love in the time of AIDS.
