Avante Garde: Shark of Greater Waters

the creatures
of mundane waters
lack luster; ah but . . .

it is the Shark
of Greater Waters
that patrols lesser life
pushing the boundaries
as to what is accepted of the
norm of politic waters;

she is
a Situationist,
non-conformist
who gets the marine
votes and aquatic handshakes;
she kisses babies into their intuitive
learning, ah, but . . .

gut-instinct
walks before it
crawls; 'tis the hand
that rocks the cradle with
her left that has an abrasive
social edge in so that they may
cut their teeth sharp for the kill,

the power of
the arts the fastest
way to social, political
reform, opposed to the
hypocrisy of mainstream,

status privileged,
color of blood surreal,
avante garde shark of greater
waters; modernist way of thinking -

her survival tactic?

interacting and
overthrowing it; those
who breach boundaries.
