Psychopoetics
Act I:
gothic frankincense
loaded in the censer you
sat me down in a corner with
my back against the bricks facing me
to the truth as I stared into the candelabra
flames
Act II:
you discalced
clad in a sheer frock
with a black hood a silver cross
hung around your neck recited a poem
in simultaneous rhythm with pestle and mortar
in a ritual of pulverizing orris-root
"confidence is at the root
I do have a certain fondness
for dark sensuality...I have lain dormant
in the broad daylight between the shadow and
the soul..."
Act III:
daylight revealed the scarecrow
you cast seed the decoy retreated
within me when I sat with my back against
the bricks last night facing me to the truth
Act IV:
we work in the dark
passion is our task even
pearls are dark before the white
Act V:
pranic ether
harvesting polyamory
you cultivate the truth seeking
it with an uncontrollable urge so
intense you become it

into your "Psychopoetics"
brilliantly expressed
beautiful chill from the bricks
onto your back
my palms feel it too
straddling the truth
