Sweetwater in Hollywood film promotion. From the Powder River Hymnals. Content marketing the Lesbian Western. Poetry that sells! The stories are timeless set in the late 1800s the images secured with the investors and the muses. Setting moods and giving intellectual property value.

Jove's Pariah and Red Mariah

keeping it real
bridle hanging on the branch
thigh-high grass swaying up to the horse's hocks
she fills her canteen in the river watches the movement of the teal
intercessors of the lamb some myopic dark cyan bible ranch

she rides past as habit
astonishing what pollutes color
dead black sticks where irises should have been
and once were

they watch her ride by
their collective cataracts blur
she's on a far more clear journey white as grace's rabbit
poncho wearer feared icon of the holy crusader silver spur

coffee pot on the stove
red mariah boiling up a pot of stew
homegrown potatoes and garden vegetables rich
with the right amount of copper and iron in the soil
jove's pariah pours a mason of whiskey stirs the amber with a clove

she rides in at dusk
lights the kerosene lantern
the barn catches her up on the gossip
the coyote marked its territory on the butter churn
amish wagon became firewood when sam mullet cut the beards
jove's pariah and red mariah came in smoking something wrapped
inside a cornhusk seeing a community vision branded on the mare's hip

quilt unfolds
a third of a scandal
with plenty of squares
holding ownership in layaway
across the distance things told
differ from things heard rope featherbeds
are quiet they weave a dominating pattern but
the way she heard it from what was told was their
bedsprings were cursed for the lewd noise they made she
was getting lascivious pleasure from the whip from jove's pariah
and red mariah if so let her curse expletives into the night

Smoking something wrapped in a cornhusk, eh? Oh, those naughty bedsprings! -- keep those expletives coming fast and furious, please.
