Whitman Sampler Vernacular I Take it in the End

numbing throb
whiskey tincture
crouching poetics

what became
of the experimental jungle
and repressed narrative gift?

kipling's cottage bears needlepoint plaque
whitman sampler vernacular I take it in the end

literary effort
adorned with miniscule whiskers
five o'clock shadow on jung's watch at my backdoor
