Sweetwater chiming in as the American lesbian poet trailblazer bought by Hollywood. Sweetwater in Hollywood film promotion Jett Durango. Poetry that sells!

Those Women Wore High Button Shoes

equine fountains
running clear water
hoists a spirit that is
a contagious wellspring
one of good intentions and
deep in thinking - horses whisper
toronto star dressing room vanity mirror
reflects her browns beiges and grays

purification
cemented in the
botanical gardens
landscaped with monte casino
asters in lavender filling voids in
neglected arrangements blown out
by dale chihuly's pipe - art is higher;
premeditation an intentional crack

fostoria crystal vase
etched memories in ancient
timelines

gold mines
in a historic
town brought a
foretold awareness
and those women wore
high button shoes making
contact with the boardwalk
traveling in step with plotted chaos
that blistered a preexisting sore spot
aggravating what the town said was "leftover
birthright
" - it was born a winter foal in the summer
of confusion
