Dear Lord, Help Guide Me

This is the way I feel today after I talked to The Lord and prayed.

Dear Lord, I have only so much energy to give one way or the other

I want to give my all and do right but I don’t want to be smothered.

So please provide direction to make my life useful and strong.

Help me to get it right because there little time left to get it wrong.

Amen

 3 Send forth your light and your truth,
       let them guide me;
       let them bring me to your holy mountain,
       to the place where you dwell.
