Dear Lord let me get the words right from the start

I want to write like You would want me to

I don’t to write from my head but from Your heart

I say things that I don’t mean sometimes

They are things that can cause people to part

Please help me Dear Lord

Don’t let me write anything that is not deep within Your heart

Let me write the words You want and not man

Please give me the right words to say

For Your words are the only words that truly stand

All others are meaningless because they come from the sinner man

So as I type or take up the pen

From this day on until the end

Please dwell within me Lord

Forevermore

Again, again and again.
