Driving used to be such a pleasure, but lately, it's road rage on steroids!

I am just an average citizen There is nothing special about me I am just another driver, a John Doe trying to survive, in the “Land of the Free” But on the road lately, it’s getting hard to be kind cause this car is about two inches, right on my behind Wow, a truck just cut me off, then sped off up the street a real fast pass; that nearly knocked me off my seat! Now the car in front is going too slow The car on the side will not let me pass it I feel like a motor in a box because this car on my rear is still on my astrick! I was on my bike too, so it’s not just me! There was a sports car zig-zagging in traffic Going twice as fast as the eye could see!! Are they in a rush to attend a funeral? I want to ask that person, “Why the hurry?” For they will expedite their own grave! It will happen very fast; not to worry! So today is another day of driving It seems things are a little bit better People seem calm, things have changed you see Beep! Beep! Honk! Honk! “It’s happening over again!” The rat race course has started again, or is it just me? JMD © 3/8/18 JMD

EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED AND THAT LEAVES THE YOUNG AND OLD WHO ARE TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING IN A DAZE...THESE DAYS. A live report of our today's social behaviour that every day gets worse... "DRIVING THESE DAZE!" presented clearly.

If people don't act to improve their manners, our living in society will be an undesirable one leading to mass destruction.

Just in this century the level of our social structure has decrease more than twenty percent.

Oh! I have become so evil on the road anymore. When it's just me driving and no one else is in the car, if someone gets up on my a--, I hit the brakes real quick. It works every time! They back off. They don't know who they're dealing with. LOL!!

Personally, I think getting a driver's license is much to easy. There are definitely a lot of crazy drivers out there. There's something about being behind the wheel that gives us a feeling of power, and it's to easy to abuse. Like Jerry said, drive defensively, and I'll add, make sure your horn works.

I recall in my youth having always sought speed. But the drum brakes, combined with big block V8s made me take some caution when making fast maneuvers or following too close, knowing the consequences were deadly.

Today, the small, turbocharged vehicles have twice the horsepower, ABS and disc brakes and better suspensions. All of the movies and advertising portray these cars as having inhuman abilities, not to mention, safety features like airbags and much better tires unheard of back in the hot rod and muscle car era.

So, many younger drivers now drive like they see others do in movies like Fast and Furious. Until they have that serious crash, they are invincible, just like I recall, we were, while driving 100 miles an hour and picking up tickets along the way.
