The importance of family coming together at Christmas time.
Christmas at Granny’s Table Stir in the sugar and applesauce, Whip up the ginger and flour. Sprinkle generously with pecans Lovingly chopped by hand. Granny’s Christmas kitchen at work. Set the table with sparkling china Given to Granny on her wedding day. Place the embroidered napkins in place, And Granny’s wedding silver on display. Call together the family to take their place At Granny’s table on Christmas day. Twinkling eyes and laughing cherub cheeks Gray-haired ladies and stout old gentlemen. The family gathers at the table for Christmas. Year by year and moment by moment Precious memories to live eternal The joy of Christmas at Granny’s table.

Nothing like dinner at your granny's house...our dinner was a bit different but the love and family togetherness was presant as was at your granny's. Great write!
