And they did.
Betwixt the flames and Angel wings A droning rose up, an outside wave Of resistance spread its monotones In glutinous threads, Wrapping and warping the fiery bond, Permeating from within - a desolate phantom Creeping through the sea, crawling through our fire Unscathed, unconcerned, Violating Heaven and raping the Earth -
A battle was lost. All the Queen’s horses and all the Queen’s men Couldn’t put the King back together again…
