A Waltz We Shall Name

Poison me, my sweet,
In our secret dark place,
Let us lie upon the altar, bare, chilled
Skin fragile upon the marble,
The glide of your voice welcoming a faster dance,
A waltz with no name -
Bring the Nightshade, dear, the bitterness
A taste we never grow bored with,
The purplish black lushness of the berries…
Quite simply fit for a King…and Queen...

Let us dance then, here in our sanctuary,
And sip the juice of the bleeding heart when we grow weary,
A fine draught I will bring thee, freshly pressed from the garden,
Let us move together, hips pressed and fingers locked,
Hearts exploding with the energy of our movement -
Joined eternally in this fine dance,
A waltz we shall name with our dark-stained kisses,
Sweet spasms growing ever more delicious,
Take a sip…
And another…

Let us flow together, grow together
In the shadows of this crypt,
Our hearts stored in the reliquary,
Our bodies entwined as we fade into the dust of centuries,
Come, my sweet…let’s sip and dine together,
Poison me…and I shall poison you…

...dark passion and well written poetry...steps in time...perhaps a box step...in vaulted romance.
