It Is Not My Voice

Falling, Sinking, drifting... Drone on, drone in, Out and in, In and out— Oppression of a voice, Depression of a drone. Busy—Powerless—Busy. Heroes of a voice can linger. My voice is silenced In this—this silence of a voice (It is not my own). Will I listen?— No, not by choice. I can move from this place, I can fly with words, Assertions of my identity, Not a clone Or a drone. As this voice, it will not stop, It will not break, But a waver now and then Allows words to come in, Flowing in, in my voice. Flowing, growing, expanding— Powerful.
