It seems so simple.
Just let go, turn away,
Accept and forgive.
Accept and forgive...
The words are like curses
Ringing, purging my soul.
Anger overwhelms such
Weak--weak--and pitiful words;
I am bound, I am shackled
To this life, to this society,
To the one who holds the rope--
The masked stranger at the guillotine.
Let it fall! Cut the binding cord
Between us, ravage my body
As you do my mind, my spirit.
A head in the grass is as useful
As a head in the clouds,
So let it fall! Let me away...
