I’m rising, Rising up, out of the flames. Wings spread, glistening feathers— White light, pure energy... I am rising, Out of the flames, Out of the memories, The tragedies of my past. I am rising, A damsel in distress, A winged soldier, A smoke-blackened angel... Who will be so welcome, So awakened, So terribly certain Of their Path... It lies before me, It lies behind me, It is my Path, My illuminated initiation. I am rising, Rising up, out of the flames. Cleansed in raging waters, Lanced with hot blue light. I am rising, Out of the flames, Out of the memories, The tragedies of my past. Come, rise with me, Walk in the flames, Guide your footsteps, Open your wings... Dena L.
