Riding a wave, The down and outs, The whispering betrayal Moves me, it moves me, It rolls through me Like the call of the ocean, The sweetest surrender of The waves... I am under the water, Moving in circles, Longing to break through, To breach the surface, But I am riding a wave, I am bobbing beneath the water In the dark, looking for the glint Of the sun. It moves me, through me, Around me, Like riding a wave— Floating in heart debris.
