I Don’t Like Cats
I don’t like cats
But Little Kitty snoozes on my lap
She’s not the Cat in the Hat
But she lulls me into taking a nap.
I don’t like cats
But Little Kitty’s nose lies on her paw
She’s not thinking about catching a rat
And I wouldn’t dream of making her lie on the mat.
I don’t like cats
But Little Kitty has a double meow
I always smile when I hear her do that
Don’t you think she should take a bow?
Why is it that Little Kitty seems to know?
That if she just sits and doesn’t go
I will soon tell her that I love her so.

*purring* double meow, eh? That's talented! Love this one--you sound like my Daddy. "I hate cats." But, when he thought you weren't looking, well, there he was, talking baby talk to the cat and petting it, encouraging it to crawl into his lap....yep. REALLY hated cats.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
This was adorable.

Have never felt a kinship with a cat. Can't explain it.
Guess it's because I was never able to train a cat do a thing.
Still have that problem with people.
I've given up on controlling people, so maybe,I will like cats.
You write about your kitty in a highly intersting manner.
