Deicated to my three daughters and my daughter-in-law
MY DAUGHTER My daughter you are such a lady and there's such a few of you around When you are near me, you make my day And when you leave me, I am blue and down You are a kind and gentle woman Whose manners are a delight You belong by the side of a gentleman I can only envision a picture, perfect wife Like the fragrance of a rose and it's every charm and beauty When you walk by, my lady Every head will want to turn and follow You could charm a snake and make him gentle as a dove Who could resist such charm and beauty With the fragrance of a lovely-rose Oh! my child, how I would love to win you and keep you ever at my side To make you queen of my domain What joy I felt on the day of your birth
