I wrote this some time ago and it was published by The International Poetry Hall Of Fame - Lots have changed since I wrote this so it may sound like old hat

                               Our  Changing  World

Whirling, Twirling, Changing World
Men and Women working, toiling
Don't look back at yesterday
Only today do they hold dear

Scienctist looking for new ways
For endless time and many days
To change this world to live forever
For better things and to die never

Yet many souls must early die
As they experiment and try
By using parts of those who die
To cure the ill, long life to live

I ask you why men are such fools
To be so smart, for bread they toil
Yet not know God who made it all

The babies die in mothers womb
For to be born would be such doom

We all must work to seek such pleasure
For bigger cars and homes and  leisure
Why do they need these things, I ask?
Are they worth all of this task?

We deprive our little ones to enter
The door of life that is eternal
Money now has become our god
To buy the things that do not last

Jesus came, he will come later
To drive away the money changers
And to bring order to this world
Where men can live in peace

And hurl the nothingness of the here and now
To live forever in the Heavenly Kingdom
Where Peace and Joy prevail

Marguerite,
Mankind is just fullfilling Bible prophecy! It's so sad but true. I enjoyed reading your poem again. I can truly feel your spirit pouring from your verses. Thank you for allowing God to use you in such a mighty way! Love you, Michelle Lemoine.

Always they look.

The things of God are often hidden if sought wrongly. Excellent.

Well said but you are wrong about the changes. Not much has changed. It's only gotten more complicated.
God Bless,
Lew

Marguerite,
your writings always remind me of the importance of true humility.
Less really is more. Humility, humbless, incredible ways to truly live a more fullfilling life. The God in you always honors the God in me!
God Bless,
All Ways,
Kevin P.
