which you avoid
to see in the eyes
when hurrying away with
armloads of presents
you had no the time
to drop for a cup
of warming coffee
a few dimes...
You know me,
I am the homeless one...
has been three days
since I had
a bite of food,
winter seems not only
to freeze the ground
but as well
the souls of them
that should do care...
You know me,
I am the homeless one...
my body tremble,
the cold is so hard
which I could setle
for the warm of one smile,
getting two kinds of winter
both with unmerciful ice,
one with the cruel wind
the other,the uncaring ones.
You know me,
I am the homeless one...
but I am blessed
this Christmas
as I am laying down
under a portal
so very tired...
because,
God's covering me
with a thick snowy blanket
so I can sleep well
this Xmas night
and tomorrow...
He can wake me up
in a better place.
