God?, do you remember me?
a punching ball I am,
the one you like to hit
knowing that I couldn't
possible hit you back?

You took all my friends
between Korea and Vietnam,
and not content with it,
after taking my sons before
now you take my daughter's life.

Love?, where was your love
when I was a little child?
when home was only a house
and parents was some people
one didn't choose...but had?

To everybody suffering and believing
you promised a Paradise,
but isn't worth a million Eden's
the Hell on earth
that you provide?

 Reviews of "God?...remember me?"

If one recalls the years of life, none of these things were "done" by God, they were done by men. Wars were made by men, parental neglect and abuse are done by men. Death is the natural destiny of all men, and no one lives forever. Our loves ones who die are not "lost" or "taken" - they enter into eternal life. When my brother had cancer, he suffered so much he asked me to pray that God "take him soon" because the torture for us both were beyond what we could endure. I suffered in life though I never did anybody injustice, but I look upon it all in the view of God's greater purpose, and that gives power to my words and writings, the EXPERIENCE of pain and suffering.
You wrote this two years ago, I hope you have gained a new perspective.

For all who have suffered the loss of loved ones, this poem speaks directly to what each of us has ever thought. "God? ... remember me?" And of course we [I] am so busy lamenting, that we [I] fail to hear His words of love and encouragement. Fortunately, I believe that He understands my humanity and my limitations, just as I understand that He is God and He will provide for my soul in the here after.

God bless you, Georg. Kathy

Mytheologic, (Mythology and Theology) ontologic and teleological questioning on the reality of one's life poemized by a heart that filters emotions, and poetized to strike souls.

If pain can create, let agony dictate!

I salute You, Poet.

May Your soul grow in grace and love.

In respect,

So stark this agony. An excellent, if difficult, poem to experience. Rebecca

I don't know what to say, Georg. This is so tragic. Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathy for your losses, and a virtual hug. I'm so sorry.
Love,
CJ
