by mourning yesterday...
If, when you feel sorrow tears
falling down, soul's cleansing rain,
DISCOVER THEN THAT YOU WERE
looking inside an empty mirror
reflecting an empty space...

yes, sometimes the feeling of void within is so great, that we cannot find ourselves... yet, this the feeling of void that can only come from a life filled up to the brim and then overflowed - and, first maybe returning a reflection we don't recognize, and then gradually daring us to find ourselves in it, no matter how bad the contours (which we can redraw, as impossible as it may seem, and make better... different from what we may have wanted, but better, nonetheless), the mirror will return... not just somebody, but us, again.
