Sometimes, even whth many people around we feel a sudden stab, an ice cold hand grabbing our heart, a tingling down the spine and a freezing jumping from our neck to wrap our head.
Among a multitude we feel alone, like a lost puppy afraid to move in a forest of moving legs and menacing feet.
Then, we are in a room to ourselves and realize that's true , we ARE alone surrounded by an opresive silence.
We want to cry, but don't dare, maybe it will be confused with self pity.
We are sad.
One evening, alone and writing
perhaps the saddest words,
a warm tear dropped on my hand,
and coming from someone I heard,
a strangled sob;
who could be in such despair
with pity in my heart I thought,
but looking around the room
told me...no one was there,
I was alone.
Its perhaps the hardest thing to confess to feeling what some consider weak.
Its beautiful to feel all emotions, and its even more beautiful to see them displayed for the world to see.
Stark, real and honest, Georg. I know I have been accused many times of being "too sensitive." I don't know how else to be. Thanks for sharing. Love and peace to you,
Regis

Well penned, Georg! I do not know what there is about a writer or an artist or a muscian, but we are emotional people and it does not take a lot to make us cry. We have a very low tolerance to both pain and joy. We are glad that someone invented Kleenex!
many live a lifetime in fear of being alone with their thoughts, clearly separating them from those who strive to create words from emotions/perceptions...

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
