Perusing among the back pages of my life I have found a few that really touched me with that special innocent candor only few writers have.
I felt like Elliot, without fear, let ET to touch his forehead with the mystical lighted tip of his finger.
I thought of seeing a similar scenario at the Sixtine Chapel in Rome.

Children's poet giving voice to
Jelly fish, little birds and puppy dogs.

Humor is always there and so is her
Encyclopedic knowledge of laughs,
Content isn't she if she doesn't see
Knickers, brushed knee and one smile.

Carnival of letters is all her write,
Heartily, soft, of understanding kind,
Intense, and protective of tender nature
Loving children, every little one;
Dear author and cherished by many which
Reflect on her gift of writing, that's like an
Enchanter from Hamelin, taking away
Naughty monsters menacing the little ones
'So they can sleep safe through the night.

Praise the author, the woman, the grandmother
Oh thou that forgot the color of life,
Ensure continuity of her work by listening to
The voice she has given to many a muted child.
