When we close our eyes and go to sleep there are many that do not dear to do so, they are the ones that fear not a monster under the bed, but yet...
IT IS NOT ANY MONSTER
UNDER THE BED OF THE CHILD,
YOU CAN SEE IT A THE DOOR
SWITCHING OFF THE LIGHT,
AND WHEN THE SHADOWS COME,
MOTHER WILL GO AWAY
LIKE ANOTHER SHADOW,
THAT DIDN'T HAVE A SMILE.

i want to save those children.... one day
a lovely poem
Too many abused children in this world, not wanted, left at home alone while parents go out, left in the dark per se and having a horrible time of it. I sure do pity those children cause mine have always known love and are better off for having it. Confusion reigns in this world over the children left alone and in the dark.
A poignant and painful write, one that touches my soul with heartache, Georg. Writing can be such a welcomed catharsis, and I hope in some way it will help you, too, my dear poet friend.
Love and a hug,
CJ
Such a sad write, and happens far too often, our children are starving for a safe, comfortable, haven to call home...thought provoking dear friend...makes me count my blessings and pray harder for those who endure such pain.
Blessings from Kentucky,

Georg,
Powerful words, Georg. I write alot for the abused children of the world. They need our voice and it can never be loud enough. This poem is written from a very talented pen. Outstanding, my friend.
Creepy...your words seethe such fear that eventually overcomes and disrupts the mind of a child, away from the intended love of mother and child...such sadness for the little ones that have ever or will ever feel this...
Well done Georg!
Hope you are well and you had a Blessed holiday! :) I'm back for a bit...the wedding is in two weeks! My daughter and I are getting to the last things on the list and having such fun doing it!
So glad to be here!
Love and Peace~

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
A symbolism that brings reality to ontologic thoughts. A poemization from deep memories... "A Shadow Without a Smile".
I salute You, Poet.
