She has an empty void that only true friends can fill and solitude with only them can crowded.
Nobody should walk over this world without a friendly shoulder to lie on.

A sudden silence falling down,
light's gone, all seems so bleak,
the chair of her mother is empty,
this is a ballade for Nancy Meeks

When your parents had passed away,
think if you can count on your family
not to rob the few tears that were left
right off from your rosy cheeks.

At nights, mother would tender write a
poem for in the morning to take a peak
at the words of an undying maternal love
which were written for her offspring.

Then, a little piece of land was calling
all that can't breathe without the greed
brimming on their mercenary hearts
that feed from those that are weak.

A sudden silence disturbed by whispers
of people saying, "friends are unique,
and they will never lef you to cry alone"
this is a ballade for Nancy Meeks.

My Dearest Friend Georg,
Your very special poem to me is so beautiful. How can I ever thank you enough? Can you imagine how excited I was to open this page and find another present? A special poem for me and with my name on it!!! It makes me feel like a celebrity, to see this special poem with my name on it, on this computer monitor, on the internet for all to see! This is such a beautiful gift...thank you so very much.
You are: The candle in my life, not a melted body which has been,
or an expended wooden match...(I bet this sounds familiar) So when you say "I wish I could be the Candle...." just know THAT YOU ALREADY ARE THAT CANDLE TO ME! Thank you so very much.
Your Friend,
Nancy Meeks

A very moving write my friend! I can relate to this when my Papaw passed, I remember that sudden silence as we stood in the hospital corridor, it felt like eternity! Several years ago my mother suffered a heart attack, she called me in the middle of the night and I called an ambulance and drove as fast as I've ever driven in my life I was met by the paramedics at her house, they loaded her up and I followed them to the hospital, I recall being with her in the tiny cubicle as they were getting her vitals, when suddenly she become to fade away, her heart rate dropped, her blood pressure dropped, and the last thing I remembered was the nurse literally pushing me out the door, and I saw the doctor hovering over my mother! I dropped to my knees in the hallway and began praying as hard and ferevently as I've ever prayed. I was pleading my mother's recovery to the Lord! I remember a gentle arm encircling my shoulder and a soft voice praying with me, it was a nurse...I have searched for her each time I am at the hospital for any reason, but have yet to see her again. Maybe an angel? Who knows? The silence of waiting for that door to open felt as a lifetime...finally when the door opened I saw my mother, her eyes open, and she was talking in a low whisper! The doctor told me, I'm not sure what happened, but I would say a miracle! But, I will never forget that silence of not knowing, wondering what if, and just the sudden silence! Great write my friend, very inspiring...very touching!
Blessings,

This speaks to me, especially the "Sudden Silence". Only those who have lost their mothers will understand the "Silence" - both she felt within herself and the "silence" she felt from her mother - SUDDENLY!!!

Some friends will understand, but some friends refuse to understand this.

Thank you for this realistic post that brings to awareness to some who don't and won't understand the "sudden silence."
