Rejection is the salt that someone throwns inside the wound, but that's another feeling who's the killer...

If the rose wilted,
the kiss of death was given

Love and roses...

The comparisons could go on forever whether one is enveloped within love or cast out through rejection, it is the heart and soul that lives...

Oh Georg, this is so true and sadly it continues. Seems that history does repeat itself, only the faces and names change. Great write as always.....

A thought provoking ku my friend...all too often we linger within the indifferences of life which will cause our souls to wilt...profound indeed!

The rose should have never wilted let alone died. Indifference is a place where one should never reside, but too many do sadly, God Bless my friend, Holly

In love with roses...sad but true...once the rose is picked...its death is inevitable. Loss of interest...wilted.

Indifference is a type of leaven that will corrupt anything that it touches dear Georg. Emotionlessness, impassiveness ... any kind of apathy that is demonstrated by the absence of emotional reaction is a witches brew that destroys like a category 5 hurricane.

Excellent thought Poet ...

Indifference... yes, sometimes coldness, sometimes that ultimate unresponsiveness that... kills of slow frostbite - not only Love, but so much of Life itself. But here goes a warm and affectionate {{{{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}}} with lots of sunshine for the Rose,

Oh how sad and yes Georg, indifference is a killer of love and closeness. Roses need sunshine and rain. Lovely poem.

Indifference, what a truly sad word, and something that has killed many a wondrous thing, including that beautiful rose and someone's most beautiful love.
