Dear sister, dear brother, tell me if it is too late, if hope used its last chance, if we have become deaf, if the world is so mute tha can't scream its protest, tell me that we have one more little chance...

Poem Artwork

You will fin them in the vast expanses
of the bluest of them all, our skies,
where flying are the whitest clouds
and from all sunsets the red stripes.

Our eagle, because we didn’t cared
pushed to extinction she almost died,
like they are doing to our America,
pounding, pounding, until she cracks.

Already the bison is gone forever,
and so are a million of mustangs,
polluted rivers, no drinkable water,
Native Americans gone by genocide.

The enormous forest for its timber
by greed were cut down one by one,
and the prairie didn’t fare much better,
they came with their stripping mines.

The last frontier will be the air up there,
so thick than even the eagles can’t fly,
we will be caressing its dead feathers
before we too…lie down and die.

unfortunately we are a very destructive species to each other & to many other living creatures, our greed from intellegence & mathematical knowledges has made us truely ignorant to our futures well being & flourishing to thirive by destroying our own planet & important creatures values

Beautifully expressed! There are some that ignore America's slow death, but there are those that mourn her passin and are helpless to really do anything but weep. The true caretakers of the land were banashed to live and die in places unfit for humans, so greed could rule and destroy! LOVE YA! SC

Excellent messages!
You have captured the "usury" of man and the blindness of his destruction. I enjoyed reading this work very much. thank you.

Stard and dark portrayal of what indeed can (and probably will) occur if we do not change our ways. Thank you for the warning, Georg. Love and peace to you,

As an optomist, I hope and pray that we will overcome and survive.
As a realist, it scares the daylights out of me - the direction in which the world is headed. Perhaps, it isn't too late, but with each passing day it becomes more difficult.

God bless you. Kathy

I very sadly believe that our once great American Spirit has died. Far too many Americans today don't seem to care about any of the things you mention above. And once the Spirit dies, there is probably very little hope left.

WHEN AMERICANS LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEMOcracy and DeMonCRACY;
PLUTOCRACY and DEMOCRACY, and stop clapping hands to the VIOLATORS of our CONSTITUTION, ~ like we are doing in the last eight years ~ we will see the SIZE of the SLAVEYARD that we are building, by CONSENTING and allowing the criminals and terrorists to control our Congress and the OVAL OFFICE. Wake Up America! You can still say NO to them, and REMOVE them as our Constitution PRESCRIVES!

"Where Eagles Die" is a historic page to stand the age of time. An accomplished poetic task poetized to honor THE AMERICAN FINE LETTERS.

In admiration,

God help us; we need to get off our tukuses and shout: NO MORE!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! And then DO something about it; sad how America has become full of uncaring, apathetic people! This is when we need to put GOD/PRAYER back into our homes, our schools, without fear of offence on others. This "political correctness" garbage has GOT TO STOP! NOW!!!!! O, boy, Georgie, you got me stirred up with this one; this needs to be shouted from the rooftops!! Very well penned; bravo!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in America, Karen Lynn in Texas. :( >tears! <
