My dead garden

Birds wouldn't come here to build a nest, nor angry wasp or toilsomely ants, the wind will go as fast as it can and rain, for the dead garden will never cry...
Seeds are like grains of sand, making this desert a little more wide...

Poem Artwork

My garden in spring is GRAY, old,
all its flowers GONE and DRY,
but I know the name of each one
so DEAD today under the sun light.

Here is SOLITUDE, hiding always,
rejection made it so very shy,
leaning to and inside the shadow
of a tall SORROW that will not die.

Like a leftover pillar of the ruins
of a forgotten temple in the past
PAIN, embodied in a black cactus
with mean thorns and not a life.

REGRETS grows here, everywhere,
much as an unwanted weed alike,
sucking from the earth its power
until all are made of unfertile sand.

SINS are the peripheral stones of
a garden that no rain, nor any man
could wake up to a former splendor
of colorful and perfumed plants.

Because the salvia of ENVY trees
spitting "it" around for a long time,
killed the waiting seed in the ground
making place for plenty of darker ANGST.

DESPERATION shows no flowers
but it gives a stench of FEARS grants,
that's not even wanted by PARANOIA
but just so in love with SUICIDE.

Don’t come to my garden if you are
one of those people believing in SMILES
and think that TEARS nurture, because
everything DIES in this garden of mine.

...in all darkness...I find so much beauty in this...and though your soul capitalizes many words in black...so exquisite is this poetic piece...and the poet who makes its light known.
excellent John

Dear Georg,

Don’t come to my garden if you are
one of those people believing in SMILES
and think that TEARS nurture, because
everything DIES in this garden of mine.

May I come sit next to you in your garden (I'll not try to cheer you up with words) and witness your pain if I can stand it. Such a powerful piece of loneliness. A friend once told me - I'll listen to your desperation but you will not take me down with you.

Your soul from hiding holds your pen.

love,
Kathy

It is very sad, but beautiful like a flowers and very talented!!!!!!!! Sad feeling in YOUR heart it is not happiness, but only because of that feeling, only because of deep pain in YOUR soul, You are able to write POEMS, which can live forever in this world. Who needs poems about happiness, how long they will live!!!???Could Shakespeare write his sonnets without that deep pain???????? NEVER!!!!!!!!! In this POEM, every sentence is very sad, they touch very deep readers heart, but they also are very-very beautiful!!!!! I WISH YOU THAT YOUR SENTENCES WILL LIVE FOREVER IN THIS WORLD!!!!!!!!! WISH YOU HAPPINESS FOR YOUR HEART, WHICH CAN BRING EVEN BIRDS AT EARLY MORNING AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU EVERY DAY IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Liana Margiva

Georg we all have to know when it is time to move on. We have to let the sun into our hearts. This is a very dark write that you share and I feel so much pain and hurt within your words. It's time to start a new dear man.

The gold of whom we are is refined in the furnaces of suffering and, also, the emotional and psychological intrigues that pepper our lives daily; it makes us who we are. Our successes are only paper bridges you know, and youth passes like water in a fast flowing stream, and yes ... everything dies at some point.

The fact that you can talk (write) about it is a reflection of strong character and hopeful desire!

What happened to sunshine, yellow roses and butterflies,
they don't exist in your nightmarish dreams

all kidding aside Brother your dark poetry is great, one can't spend a whole life time looking at the world through rose color glasses, there is a dark side to all that's bright.
Peace be with you Brother George........"I am Backkkkkkkkkkkk"

But with a dear heart such as yours, Georg, miracles can be performed. Try water-color paints on DESPERATION and SOLITUDE to brighten them; Easter egg dye to color SINS and REGRETS; take red berries to transform ENVY and ANGST; blue ones to lighten FEAR and SORROW. Then toss that SUICIDE stone as far away as you can.
If that doesn't help, move as Ed says, to a more fertile garden.
Blessings and LOVE ~~ Micke

Georg, I know pain sometimes is very hard to bear, but it does subside at some point. Please try to find something that will bring your sunshine back. I will not falter in my quest to spread peace and joy, and in your garden of grayness, there will be a glimmer of light because I feel very closely connected to your energy...I will not allow you to fall into the darkness, my friend, you have no way out now, Amber is going to spread healing light into that garden..sorry, it's for your own good and the goodness of mankind, because you know what my friend, you are worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I send you healing rays of light and empowerment, now and always.
Peace, love, and light,
