You see a familiar face running towards you, you smile a welcome with an exploding heart from delight, then...the face just goes by, it didn't recognize you back, busy looking everywhere for what?...not you.
Today, of all days, you went by my door
today, when I was kind of feeling utterly sad,
with sorrow tears no willing to be fell for
a name wrote with the white color of epitaphs;
caresses of a lover that explored all on her
and forgotten kisses on lips that are age dry,
vacillant, trembling fingers writing on the air
the timidly phrases of a waiving goodbye;
today you saw me and I saw you as you were
disconsolately weeping, a ghost from the past,
eyes looking but to everywhere, desperate,
no instantly recognition as you left me behind,
you didn’t remember me anymore, emptiness,
send in the Clowns…cos I need a laugh.

without recognition, for they no longer
possess the ability to remember
sometimes I've been passed by
and ignored, as they go out of the way
looking in other directions
for reasons only know to the ignorant.

Boy, this one is perfect for me today...to close to right on...I sure could use a clown too! Tougher is now when those you thought of as friends don't see how much they have hurt me... Lady J

Yes the face says it all Georg, time to put on an old record of Enrico Caruso, you know which one, by the way, the first song I ever heard on an old Grammaphon, you know the one with the big horn, I guess he sang for many of us, and still today. Hugs! Jasmin Horst
