Man in all his arrogance tried to held,
not to be punished, both hands of God,
and could not understand the slap from
a Divine Third Hand, that he never saw.

A verse in Proverbs says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom." God usually has to resort to using a 2x4 stick of lumber to smack me on the head with so as to get my attention, sometimes. I like you poem. Hugs J

Georg, excellent advice... reminds me of an old testament story about arrogance of man, and God's will. Read Micah 6:8... quite fitting for today's environment.

Love it, I like the idea of God being more like a guiding parent, capable of love but also giving a subtle swat now and then just to remind us of who is in charge and looking out for our welfare.
