The Goddess's Palette

Sun-tipped trees, dew moist grass
Brush strokes from the goddess’s brush
Paint this world, bold color cast
Blues so clear and greens so lush

Gild the lilies in the fields
Paint the air with sunlight
Delicate or bold strokes yield
From lowest sea to towering heights

Use your palettes endless dreams
To color landscapes subtleties
Light pastels on seas of cream
And darkest shadows as you please

My eyes behold this world and yet
I cannot get my fill
This lifetime’s quota’s yet unmet
There is still more to thrill
