A universal remedy for healing the ills of society
PROVEN PRESCRIPTION
At this late hour,
the clock ticking rapidly,
recalling the shower
of distressful days,
I conceive the cure
for the maze of pain...
For the crimes of
humanity, the poison
of jealousy, disease
of greed, the sore of
discrimination, the
painful need for
security-- and that
infectious pustle
which breaks out
in world-wide war.
This universal remedy,
miracle balm of healing
for all the ills of society,
is a prescription from
above -- the proven
prescription-- written
in heaven, and labeled
"LOVE."
Wise lines of sublime conception... "Proven Prescription" is indeed the most active remedy to social maladies; it is the most powerful AMMO against degrading.
I have nourished my soul through the lines of "Proven Prescription".
It pleases me to read a precious poetic jewel that enriches THE AMERICAN FINE LETTERS, and the holy history of Poetry.
Well said and true. The problem is love seems to be hard to come by unless you have a perscription and our leaders do not wish to write one. I guess we will have to do it for them.
