Awakening too late

DESTINY

Each of us, an inner fire
encased in an identity of
clay, is pre-assigned a
special note--and destined
to play in harmony with
all God's other children
on this earthly journey.

With love for each other,
beauty and tranquility--
happiness our destiny.

Then, escalating discord
on this designated road to
glory (blinding our eyes,
erasing memory) alters the
beauty of being, pollutes
the purity... A brother
becomes an enemy.

Without love for each other,
murder, war, genocide ...
Sorrow now, continually.

But when our planet earth
persona begins to crumble
(the body belying the flame)
the dying, reconsidering,
finally conceive the "family
love" philosophy. Too late--
we forfeited our destiny.

Wise words to live by. Not enough people do.
Our destiny was foreited in the Garden of Eden and we have carried on ever since. The price was paid by Jesus Christ for those who will accept it. Not enough do.
God Bless,
Lew
