FLOWERS OF PROMISE

To only a few is the pure white
rose the prettiest flower--and
not to everyone the rose of any
hue. Perhaps you prefer the
tint of marigold, millions do.
And there are fans of the
new-world carnation, while
others find more beautiful
the ancient original blossom
of deeper tincture-- all aglow
in His earthly garden, all
divined for painting this world
to beauty. And each inclined
to fulfill the promise of their
Maker-- God's human children in
multicolor, like the rainbow.
