Reality’s eyes Used to be sleeping through the day Used to be sleep walking in denial about things I drink black coffee I wake up to the ugly reality I can’t I won’t deal with shit I don’t need to I will chant beautiful soulful soliloquies I will pray for lovely peace in this soul of mines I don’t want to deal no more no more no dayum more with blues stuck in my heart bleeding I drink black coffee life’s suger is not so sweet I can’t I won’t pull pretty blinds over my innocent eyes I will look I will see the truth even if it hurts me (c) 2004
