refresh my soul. oh lord. refresh my soul. my soul needs an awakening. peel away from my unclean spirits. give me your love and give me a fresh perspective. refresh my soul. oh lord. refresh my soul. again and again. i try to be the soldier you want me to be. i want to be clean and pure. i want to be like you. i am but a human. i am but frailed. but i know that you love me and will work with me. but in the meantime, give my soul an awakening. i need your spirit to fill me with your wonderful, wonderful, spirit.

This reminds me of a song we used to sing back when I was "camp nurse" for our Church Camp. Beautiful words, should be put to song.
