This is for Scada. If you haven't read pure white sand please do so before you continue.
This is the rest of the story.

My husband called me at work
wanted to take the kids to the beach
dogs too
Carmel By The Sea
it was 90 degrees
unusual for us
ok good idea
so far
so good
our daughter had crosscountry practice
so that meant
she would have to shower
understandable
delay
then the oldest boy
had us sitting in the truck
looking for his personal cd player
delay
got the dogs tied up
got all the kids
including one wet headed daughter
and away we go
so far
so good
found a parking place
fairly close
lifted the scardycat dogs down
not too much screaming yet
hiked down to the beach
I'm trying to keep the littliest guy
off the street
and trust me
we are loud
I think I embarassed the girl oh maybe twice
with my screaming
so far
so good
tons of people
on account of the 90 degrees
we hike it down
dogs barking at every creature
including human in a 1 mile radius
so we settle on a spot
I park the one and only clean towel in the house
the dogs scratch my foot
the boys are screaming
because they forgot the boogie board
and trust me
I'm not going for it
the husband and daughter scram down the beach
with the dogs intow
who trust me are freaking out
because they rarely ever leave
the back yard
ok
all the stuff about the otters
and the diving
and even the pure white sand is true
to the word
even that the husband and daughter
looked beautiful
well see I need glasses
and they were oh about a mile away
what could be more beautiful than that
even with a belly button ring HA
then back the beautiful pair come
we have a major dog fight
in which I got the top of my foot
scratched to hell
which burned like a mother
on account of the pure white sand
and of course
sea salt
so far
so good
time to go
boys don't wana
we actually left one
in the water
literally left him
and his shoes
and his shirt
hey
you miss the bus
you miss the bus
so far
so good
then decided to get a bite
trust me
in this tourest town
you don't take
three scraggly seawet kids
two barking dogs
one harley t-shirt mama
and one very frustrated I'm trying here
daddy
out to eat
but we did
and we got stared at
and I was too loud
and of course I embarrassed
my daughter
so far
so good
then there's the tied up dogs in the truck
who decide to kill each other
had the whole restaraunt watching
but hey
what's wrong with picking out the good stuff
what's wrong with using the good colors
for the painting
and trust me
in that restaurant
we had the best time
my husband imitated me squinting down the beach
and my kids busted a gut
I wouldn't have traded
that night
for the world
so far
so good
and as for the sand
well I'll never get that out of the truck
but hey
what's alittle sand
but next time
I'll probably make sandwiches
and all of this
made
especially for me
HAHA

kay Scada, after reading this and knowing the full on truth, if you wana still come live with us. Come on. We are loud and obnoxious,
but you'll never have a better time in pure white sand.
HA

I wish I could give you a "50"!!! What an amazing story, and I loved every word. I'm not easily embarrassed, and I'm alone too much. However YOU might just get sick of me and my neuroticism (is that a word?). Bottom line is, YES I'd love to come and I better do it before you change your mind... lol.

Love ya,
Scada
