grey skies
pounding tide
sea breeze pacific
bouganvillia shrouded
enclave
and I look up to see
framed in palm tree frond
a seagull high
hummingbird near
the
image
burns
I am both
soaring as the gull
sleek and calm
fluttery as the hummingbird
bunny heart quick
and I sigh
at the contrast
of who I am
complex yet serene
soaring yet fluttering
seared
in
this
moment of time

This is a truly excellent piece! Wonderful imagery, sensory brilliance! Good job, Josephine!
Surely, you must already know the brilliant beauty in this...a masterpiece secured by your beautiful vision...and you see what I see simultaneously.
Amor from Amor
I feed a seagull by the name of "Gulloyster" every single day..a name I gave him..I must add.. he is so clever he waits for me on rooftops in town.....and as soon as he sees my car he follows me to this place called "Cornuti"...he will fly so low about 3 meter from the grouand the moment I stop he will come down and sit about 2 meters from me waiting for me to get out and feed him his "Titbit"...I will write something about this as soon as my pics are ready that I have taken of him...
