I miss you already and yet your scent
still lingers in my room.
I long for your touch and yet your kisses
are still impressed upon my mouth.

You don't believe my words yet it is your words
that still run through my memory.
Reminding me of your separateness
and still I feel your soul.

Yearning to touch my heart yet afraid
to install any emotion.
Are you afraid to love or is it not I, the one to share?
Thus I still I question your intentions.

As my heart has forced the coldness
still I yearn for warmth.
Warmth you can't afford me, the lovingness I seek,
still hungers for fulfillment.

No words nor slight of hand can remedy thy ailment,
when thy heart still feels desire.
And though I contemplate over and over
- my mind still tumults in its confusion.

M yheart calls our your name yet now to a deafened ear
My love you still elude me.
An inescapable dream where my mind often slips,
still reality can't evade me.

And the truth I do not wish to know,
still makes its presence known.
For the harshness of truly knowing
still brings the bitter tears.

That trickle from my eyes, roll down my cheeks,
to instill the pain,
that reckons to my heart, the suffering of my soul.
For I still have lost you.

Lost of days gone by and changes with the wind,
as I'm still fond of remembering,
the days and nights with you, our bodies grown to one,
I still tenaciously hold on.

Not wishing to let go or move and grow apart
and still, it must be so.
