Enticed am I by things you say
As I love you more each passing day
Forever wishing you were here
As I deeply long to hold you near

The clock hand marks a turtle's pace
As I live through impatient grace
And pending ending of this trial
As I now know without denial

My heart is yours forever more
As the only man I shall adore
